Rafting the West river in Southern Vermont is, in a word, spectacular! The white water rapids of the West are both historic to the sport of paddling and immensely fun. The southern Vermont scenery, much like their syrup, is grade “A” and the experience will make for guaranteed memories and camaraderie amongst both guide and guest. In the past decade we’ve only had the opportunity to run this historic stretch of river, one autumn weekend each year. Until this year! 2017 marks the resurgence of Spring rafting on The West river! The great blend of challenging white water and spectacular scenery is a fabulous way to make Spring 2017 a memorable one. If you’ve rafted the Fife Brook section of the Deerfield, this is your next step up!
Berkshire Whitewater is partnering with Outdoor New England to run this historic trip.
