Directions to Berkshire Whitewater

Berkshire Whitewater is located in Charlemont Massachusetts 17 miles west of Greenfield just off of Route 2. Berkshire East Mountain Resort features great skiing, riding, Mountain biking, zip lining, whitewater rafting and North America’s Largest Mountain Coaster all surprisingly close to home.

From Boston:

Approximately 2.5 hours

Take Route 2 West, the historic Mohawk Trail. Merge onto I-91 South. Take the first exit (26) to get back onto Route 2 West. At the traffic circle, take the second exit to continue on Route 2 West. From here, there are signs directing you to Berkshire East. Follow Route 2 for 17 miles to Charlemont. After passing through the center of town, take a left following the signs for Route 8A South. You will cross a bridge, over the Deerfield river. At the T intersection take a left, and Berkshire East will be on your right. Park in the main lot and walk up the foot path to the rafting center for check-in. 

From NYC:

Approximately 4 hours

Take I-95 North to I-91 North (It is exit 48 and is a left exit). Take exit 26 to merge onto Route 2 West. At the traffic circle take the second exit onto Route 2 West, the historic Mohawk Trail. From here, there are signs directing you to Berkshire East. Follow Route 2 for 17 miles to Charlemont. After passing through the center of town take a left following the signs for Route 8A South. You will cross a bridge over the Deerfield river. From Points North:
